Braden sat back on a barrel. He cracked his knuckles, first squeezing them in the palm of the other hand and then lacing his finger together and pushing them toward his chest. After doing so, he rested his elbows on his knees, looking out at the crowd. Today was a good day. It was busy. Quiet days were his favorite, but busy day gave him obstacles.
His icy eyes quickly looked over the people who passed by. He wasn't in the mood to bother any shops or their owners. Passer by will do just fine. A puff smoke took his place and surrounded him as he appeared on the other side of the street. It disappeared and Braden found his victim. It was a woman who looked to be a few year younger than him, and looked like she actually had a bit of money. She walked down the street, seemingly oblivious to other people. He stayed parallel to her, figuring out what she had.

Vallary had left her black arabian mare, Calypso tied to a post close by, but anything else that was of great value to her was on her. Her black hair was put up in a very intricate french braid that started at one temple and snaked its way ascross the top of her head to the otherside in the back. She had on a pair of rather ratty yet fashionable jeans and a nice red and flowing, almost like a dress like, tunic that reached to about the middle of her thigh. A cammel colored leather messenger bag, that held her things, rested on her shoulders, across her chest and against her hipShe glanced over her shoulder to make sure that Calypso was secure. Not one who wasn't trustworthy would be able to touch the mare who was too often skitish with strangers depending on who it was.
Her mysterious violet eyes scanned the small crowd infront of her as she had a feeling she was being watched. She just kept her cool, but then she started to listen closely to thoughts of people and she tried to zone in on one specific one that stood out the most. She smirked as she realized it was a theif trying to figure out what all she had. What he didn't realize was she had a revolver strapped to her back under her tunic and her lovely abilities to read minds and control objects she could see. Unfortunately she had left her saphire sword back at the Vial Bandit's Camp Grounds just for safe measurements. She didn't want to draw any real attention to herself considering she is wanted by the King himself.
She stopped and glanced around looking for a suspicious looking person. She thought she spotted several then kept walking knowing that if one of them was planning to steal from her she would see them again if she kept moving.

Once he noticed the woman looking around, Braden appeared on the other side of the street. He left the puff of smoke quickly, though some of it followed him. For a few moments, he walked as if he were just another man on the street. He had no clue that she knew someone was following her. He thought she was totally oblivious. Fixing his shirt, he was still trying to figure out all she had. He wasn't the typical thief that just grabbed a purse then check it out later. Wasting time wasn't his big thing.
When she stopped and glanced around again, he tried to stay out of her sight. At this point, Braden could tell she might have a clue she was being followed. He kept moving. Slowly he got closer and closer. Now, he was just a few feet away, planning out how he'd actually accomplish this.

She smirked at his thoughts of her being oblivious to him. Saddly it was he who was the oblivious. She tried not to make herself so obvious, but she had finally figured out who it was. He was rather cute looking, but he had the slightest hint of suspiciousness written on him as well. She pretended not to notice him near her as she continued to move.
"Don't even think it, honey bunches." She said to him through her telepathic powers. She was curious to see his reaction to the faint melodice voice that would enter his mind. She stopped and her violet eyes locked on him and she smirked and bobbed her eyebrows up and down teasingly at him.

He looked around at the voice he heard. It didn't take him long to realize that is was the girl. "Aw, damn." he mumbled, then laughed. "I targeted a telepathic?" He didn't need to ask. He knew and she knew that he chose the wrong target. He glanced down at her messenger bag and waited a few seconds. Leaning back, he folded his arms and looked around. A puff of smoke appeared and Braden was next to her, his hand on the bag. He could take of with it then.

She smirked in amusement as he looked around confused at first. She chuckled when he realized she was telepathic. She frowned when he disappeared within a blue smoke and she turned around emediatly and her hand grasped the strap of the bag as she glared at him.
"I'm not only telepathic, so it would be wise of you, Sir, to let go of my bag." She warned stearnly looking at him through violet eyes. Her grip on her bag tightened as she watched him her eyes searching his. She didn't want to draw attention to herself from anyone else for fear of someone realizing she was one of the fourteen on the most wanted list. If he continued he would do just that and it was something she didn't want to happen. She was one of the ones with tons of posters of her all over creation and it's a wonder no one had recognized her and turned her in by now.

Braden's eyebrows lowered and his mouth lopsidedly went up. "Sir makes me sound so old. You can do more? What is it then?" He flinched backward, tugging her bag. He smirked slyly, but was mad that his plan had been foiled. There can't be much that she could do... he thought Can there? His eyebrow perked up.

She looked at him and frowned gently. "Well since I don't know you're name sir will have to make do with you, unless you prefer honey bunches." She said gently as her grip on her bag stayed tight. She yanked it away from him still keeping a tight grip on it. She debated answering his questions, but then his thoughts came through."No there's not much, but they are nice and handy powers. She sent through his head with a gentle note to it. "You should really learn to close off your thougts from people like me. They can use it to their advantage, much like I did a few minutes ago and worse." She said gently looking at him as she brushed back a few stray hairs from her braid. "I can control things I can see with my mind and I have the healing touch." She said gently looking around to make sure that no one had recognized her so far. It was a suprise that no on had so far, or that he hadn't yet either.

Braden started to vaguely recognize the face off a poster. "How come you don't know my name already?"I mean, can't you read my mind?"It's . . . Fox." Her mental note added curisosity. "Got any pointers?" He had no idea how to close of his thoughts from people like her and didn't know it was possible. Since the bag was out of his hands now, he paced around her. There was no intention of leaving from him. A nice conversation in the middle of the street added a bit of interest to his day.

She looked at him and frowned gently. "I can only hear your thoughts, and talk to you through them." Unless you say your name in your thoughts I have no way of knowing it." She said gently as she watched as he paced around her. That was making her nervouse and it was turning a few heads from passerbys. "Stop that, I don't need attention turned towards me, and plus you're making me feel like I'm your prey or something." She snapped in his mind angrily then looked around frowning whenever someone turned their head towards them. She looked back at him and frowned gently. "The best thing to do would be to just put a barrier around yourself and/or your thoughts. It depends on the situation really." She said as she looked to him then thought she saw a knight coming up. She turned around to keep her back to him so that he couldn't see her.

Well, you are a piece of artwork. Braden stopped pacing and stood in front of her. "Oh, Riiiighht. A barrier," he said as if recalling the needed information. "Why didn't I think of that?" He made another lap around her and stopped again. His blue eyes coolly looked over the crowd and the people who'd glance over occasionally. Whenever they did, he gave them sarcastic smiles. Really, he was testing to see how long it would take for her to grow annoyed or tired of him. Right now, it seemed from his point of view that she had a lot of patience. That wasn't like most other people he knew. They snapped almost instantly when he showed up.

She watched him and frowned gently. She relaxed a little when he stopped circling her. She looked around spotting a night watching them cautiously. "Damn." She thought gently. She looked back to him and frowned when he started to cirle around him again. "If you don't stop you'll be walking this streets bare assed naked." She remarked hotly through his mind as she watched him. She looked back to where the night was come to realize that he was making his way towards them. "Look what you've done. This is exactly why I don't like attention drawn to me." She remarked angrily turning back to Fox. "If you must continued to annoy me then we'll have to find another spot because undoubtily no thanks to you're circling around me you've drawn the attention of a knight." She remarked as she she swivled and around and hastily started to walk hoping to god that she could loose the knight in the crowd. She didn't know what she would do if she couldn't.

Braden's eyebrows went up as she gave the nude remark. He didn't do anything, but watch her. He cocked and turned his head to look at the knight. He didn't exactly get kind faces form them either. He still didn't make any comment, just watched and listened as she talked angrily at him. When she swiveled and hurriedly walked away, took another look at the knight. Thanks to the knight, their kindly little conversation had been ruined! Thats what he thought, anyway. Without warning, he walked forward, his walk eventually becoming a low sprint to catch up with her. He crouched down and sped up and, once close enough, grabbed her waist, pulling her down with him and at the same time teleporting away with a display of smoke. They appeared in the back of an alley, crouched down as before. He stood up and leaned on the wall, looking back toward the street. They did get away from the knight. He looked back and her with a smirk.

She wasn't going to wait on him. She had to get away from the knight and quick. The next thing she knew a hand had grasped her around the waist and pulled her down. She gasped and was about to yell when she felt an odd sensation. She closed her eyes and when she opened them she was in an alley way, on the ground none the less because she had fallen, hopefully far away from the knight. She felt a little dizzy now since she wasn't exactly used to teleportation. She looked up at him and she just wanted to smack that smirk off his face. "Something amusing that I missed?" She asked hottly as she carefully started to stand. Now she was going to have to lay low for only god knows how long.

"Nope." The smirk stuck on his face as she stood. "But you are most certainly welcome. Being a thief who's got a bad rep with any guard or knight, I couldn't just let you try to evade him all by your lonesome." He didn't do anything, but lean against the wall and watch her. "So, what are you wanted for? Are you a thief yourself? Or one of them other people- uhm..." He Snapped his fingers a couple times, trying to remember the name. "The Dial Bandits or something...?"
